His Excellency, the president of the republic of Ghana, Professor John Atta Mills has blamed the current economic crisis in the country, partly on claims that the former NNP Administration dissipated the national coffers, leaving no funds for the management of the country.

President Mills whom  was addressing a durbar of chiefs and people at Dormaa Ahenkro on the second of his three-day tour of Brong Ahafo,.  Admitted that the country is going through crisis but accused the former Kuffuor led administration of mismanaging the country.

According to Space Fm’s reporter, Kofi Ansu, the President has told the people not to blame him for anything but rather the NNP government, for deceiving Ghanaians for eight years.
