NPP, NDC supporters clash over I.C Quaye's comment
For the second consecutive time there was Mayhem at the hearing of NPP’s sympathizer Nana Darkwa at the Accra High Court.
According to an eye witness who spoke to Citifmonline.com, a stone throwing incident broke out between supporters of the NDC and the opposition NPP, following an alleged comment passed by former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Sheikh I.C Quaye on the matter.
Two NDC supporters were seriously injured and have since been rushed to the hospital.
It took the late intervention of the police to bring the confusion to an end.
The case has been adjourned to the 29th of March, 2010.
According to Citi News reporter, Richard Mensah, who was at the court, the irate NPP supporters have threatened to arm themselves for the NDC’s confrontations in the next hearing which is slated for March 29th.

He had earlier been remanded in prison custody but later released on bail.
Confusion broke out at the Cocoa Affairs court during the first hearing of the case on Wednesday March 2, when some irate supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress thronged the court and threatened to beat up Nana Baafi Darkwa.
